Welcome to studyoffaith.com!  This is an online bible study for anyone who has a desire to study and learn the Word of God.  We believe by faith that this Word gives the words of Life, and It leads us closer to truly following the will of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  This website is designed to share ideas, feelings, and truths about how the Bible tells us that we should live our lives.  We hope that in this online study, you will find companionship, hope, and the truth about Jesus Christ, through whom is salvation and everlasting life!  So please, feel comfortable in reading through the posts already left by participants in this online study, study along with us as we search out the truths of life, and join in with us in fellowship as we share, discuss, and enjoy the teachings of our Lord Jesus.  If you are not yet a follower of Jesus, we pray that you sincerely study and search Him for yourself; Behold, I stand at the door and knock. THE POST

The main thing that we have said about this site is that we want an easy place for anyone who wants to study God’s word to come and do just that.  However, there is an alterior motive to studying this word.  Jesus said that we should study Him for ourselves, but when we find no fault, then we are to believe and follow Him.  With that in mind, the alterior motive for this website is that someone see the truth and love that is Jesus Christ and then, give their lives to Him.  Are you tired of the direction that your life is headed?  Do you want a better life full of joy and the promise of life eternal? 

Being born again is not as simple as a “sesame street” prayer and then you go on living your life as usual.  No, being born again means giving your entire life, all that you are, over to Jesus.  The old selfish, dirty you is replaced with the spirit of the living God, and you will be forever changed.  Are you still the same person?  Well, yes in some ways, but your core is now forever changed and you will not be able to help but to be a different, a better person.  Do you want to give your life to Jesus?  Here is a prayer that will help, but remember, this prayer will not save you.  You have to truly believe that Jesus is who He says that He is and you have to completely surrender to Him.

The sinner’s prayer:

Lord Jesus, I am tired of my life going backwards.  Lord, I know that I am my own problem.  I have lived my life my way for too long and I can’t find happiness, no matter what I do.  But Lord Jesus, I believe that you can do what you say that you can do, and that is to save my life and make it new again.  I have searched you Lord Jesus and I know that You love me and care for me more than I could ever care for myself.  Thank you Lord for giving Your life so I may find mine in You and that I might live forever with you in Your kingdom.  Lord Jesus, come into my life right now God, and give me your Spirit that I might come into a new life, a better life.  I give my life to You Jesus that You might transform it and make me the person that I am supposed to be.  Thank you Lord Jesus for loving me, and I ask finally that You guide me and lead my life where You would have it go.  Amen.
